On Her Way to Future Success: Alexandria’s Journey to College and Career Readiness

When Alexandria first joined Family Biz Builder (FBB) as a summer intern in 2021, she had no idea how much the experience would shape her path forward. What began as an internship quickly evolved into a mentorship role, and today, the now-college student has become one of the standout examples of what the College and Career Readiness Program (CCRP) was designed to achieve.

Since December 2021, Alexandria has gone above and beyond—supporting not only her own mentees but also stepping in to help other mentors guide theirs. Her passion for learning and her willingness to lead by example have made her a true inspiration within the FBB community.

A Remarkable Achievement: From 21 to 30 on the ACT

Through FBB’s partnership with Winward Academy® and support from the United States Tennis Association (USTA), Alexandria accessed personalized academic tools that strengthened her skills in English, math, reading, and science.

Her 9-point ACT score increase is not just a number—it’s a reflection of countless hours of dedication, mentorship, and a supportive environment that believed in her potential.

From High School Graduate to Future Health Professional

Since graduating from Tunica Academy in 2024, Alexandria has continued her educational journey and is now a sophomore at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiotherapy.

Her major combines her love of education and exercise, preparing her to make a real impact in the field of wellness and physical health. Alexandria’s long-term goal is to become a pre- and post-partum exercise specialist, helping women build strength and confidence before and after childbirth.

Her focus reflects the same compassion, leadership, and dedication she showed during her time at Family Biz Builder—only now, she’s turning those traits into a career that empowers others to live healthier, more confident lives.
